Week #2 of the
Raxx Open 9-Ball Tournament was
a little light on the heavy hitters
due to conflicts with the US Open
9-Ball Championship. Players like
Raxx owner Holden Chin, Rob Omen,
Jack the Cop and Oscar Bonilla
showed up to play. On the winner's
side it would come down to the
Raxx manager Rob Omen vs Anthony
Pizaro. Rob Omen would take the
match against Anthony 5-2 to remain
undefeated sending Anthony to
the one loss side.
On the one loss side Bobby B defeated
Holden Chin by a score of 4-1
setting up the final match on
the one loss side with Anthony.
Anthony continued to play strong
defeating Bobby B by a score of
4-2 setting up a rematch with
Rob Omen. Both players played
strong and were notched up 5-5
in a race to 7 but Anthony would
take advantage of a mistake by
Rob Omen in rack #11. A beautiful
break by Anthony would lead to
a strong run out in the final
rack giving Anthony Pizaro the
tournament victory.
